Cyclone Nargis hits Myanmar
The death toll from the Myanmar cyclone is up to nearly 22,500, according to local media reports, after Cyclone Nargis battered the Irrawaddy delta Friday night and Saturday morning. The city of Yangon is particularly badly affected, and there will be extensive delays to any collections/ deliveries to this region, as power & telecommunications are largely out of action. 17 January 2008
